blog, Ramblings, UncategorizedIf there’s one thing that you can’t tell just by staring at me, it’s the undying love I have for Kelly Clarkson. I love her, her music, her voice, her personality, her talents, her concerts, everything. I don’t know when it started, however, it had to have been around the time she won Idol. It’s a musical interest that has made a lot of people laugh, for obvious reasons, but I love her nonetheless. Always have, always will. Idol days to dyin’ days.

blog, Ramblings, UncategorizedThere is many-a-convo one can hear while touring the Biltmore. I mean, it’s a great place for family and friends but sometimes you’ll overhear certain things from other visitors that stick in your mind just because they’re so prominent: like one older lady that seemed to proclaim to the entire courtyard “Well I haven’t been on my feet this much since nineteen-eighty-five!” Or the small child that lost his mind when news was broken to him that the lions by the front door didn’t come alive at night (a claim I can neither prove nor disprove myself).

He would show us the cover and we would all say in unison “oh yeah, the one with the lady on it!…” or something like that.
To this day, I love that record. I own it on vinyl and it’s one of my most favorite.

blog, TravelIt may come as a shock to literally no one that I, Mr. Peace-and-Quiet, love poetry. I can’t remember when I precisely started loving poems quite as much as I do, so I’ll just say that I came into the world loving poetry. And with nearly six years of investing myself academically, I’d better love it, otherwise, I’d be insane.
I did It.
blog, Ramblings, UncategorizedNearly a year and a half ago, I publicly said that I would start this blog. A year and a half ago! I could lie and say that I really was just too busy or couldn’t find the time to sit down and simply write;
